Where AI Is Used

The editor chooses a topic or premise and may provide characters, themes, direction, or constraints. Generative AI is then used to expand that input into a working story draft. AI may also assist with alternative titles, wording, summaries, or illustrative cover concepts.

What the Human Editor Does

The editor decides what to develop and whether a draft is suitable for publication. The editor reads the draft and makes changes for readability, continuity, tone, formatting, and obvious errors. The editor also selects the final title, presentation, and publication status.

What We Do Not Claim

We do not describe these stories as written entirely without AI. We do not present fiction as verified reporting, and we do not claim that AI output is automatically accurate, original, or publication-ready.

Limitations

Generative systems can produce clichés, repetition, inconsistencies, invented details, or language resembling common patterns. Human review reduces these risks but may not eliminate every issue. Readers can report a concern at contact@shorttalehub.com.

Copyright and Personal Information

We do not intentionally prompt AI to imitate a living author or reproduce a protected story. We avoid entering sensitive personal information into story-generation workflows. Credible copyright reports are reviewed and may lead to revision or removal.

We may update this policy as our tools and editorial process change. The current wording is intended to describe our actual workflow, not an idealized or fully automated process.
